Dancing snow

The coat of darkness
over the world
white and grey embrace in whirls
my vision is blurred
And snowflakes leave their cloudy homes
Ho, look how they’re dancing !
Amazing turns, magical twists
they fly up and down, in ev’ry direction
Then brother wind comes along
with his strong and cold breath
singing his icy white song
he marks winter’s frozen path
He plays the music
to which the white little fairies dance
and his powers, with winter’s magic
paint crystaline flowers on the windows
and while the snowflake waltz on
the world is gone
ind endless black and white
