Smell
Character(s): Aiolia, Marin
She smelled like the wind. Aiolia dug his nose into her red curls. They carried the scent of a fresh breeze, of freedom – like the wind that carried the eagle’s wings. He inhaled deeply and let himself be carried away by that scent, to far-off places, light as a feather... There was also a touch of forest in her scent, and before his mind’s eye he flew hight above the world, looking down on a vast expanse of green trees. At that moment, he realised he wanted to keep this breeze, to make it his own, to protect it.
Marin hugged him closely. Felt how he dug his nose in her hair. And wondered what he smelled there. He at least, smelled like… like a lion. It was a scent of strenght. Of masculinity. There was also a touch of herbs. Where did it come from? Did he shower with something that smelled of herbs? Whatever it was, it was a very pleasant smell, that added well to his natural scent. That MANLY scent. And she knew she’d always be safe with him.
They hugged and watched the sunset over the mountains of Sanctuary.
