A cold wind blew over the walls and towers of Walhalla palace.
On a balcony stood a girl with blonde hair and gazed out over the land. Her hands were folded in prayer, her thoughts rested upon one single person.
,Hagen…‘
It had been two years he was gone now. He trained in a secluded space, to become a God Warrior of Odin. A protector of Asgard. She knew she should be happy, and still…
,I miss you, my friend.‘
No, friend didn’t exactly catch her feelings. If she was honest with herself, she was in love with him. Sometimes, she wondered how she stood being separated from his for so long. They had known each other since they had been small children, and Hagen had been always a nice companion to her and her sister.
As if that thought had summoned her, her sister’s voice called from behind her.
„Freya!“
The girl turned and saw her sister Hilda, priestess of Odin, runnig towards her.
„Hilda!“, Freya exclaimed. She always enjoyed seeing her sister. „Hello!“
Just then, she saw her sister’s face beaming with excitement.
„Wh… what is it, sister?“
Hilda came to a stop in front of her and took both of Freya’s hands.
„You won’t believe it“, the priestess panted. „I… I just received a message. Hagen…“
A jolt of fear flushed through Freya. „What is with him?!“, she exclaimed. „Is he alright?!“
Hilda laughed. „He is. In fact, he will come home. In two weeks.“
A squeal escaped Freya’s lips. „So soon?!“, she yelled, overjoyed.
Her sister smiled at her. „Yes, so soon. I thought you ought to know that.“
„Thank you, Hilda.“ Freya hugged her. Then Hilda left, needing to take care of important matters, seen as she was the ruler of Asgard despite her young age.
Freya turned to the horizon again.
Soon, her beloved would come home. Soon, they’d see each other again.
Only two more weeks to wait.

They are so beautiful, Freya and Hagen! You know, I cried warm tears when he died and still do each time I watch that episode. I love Hasgard's part in Saint Seiya!
And if sometimes it seems that Freya feels something for Hyoga, I still believe she cares much more for his tragic doomed friend, Hagen.
